Calistoga Lunch Ride

Please note that I shamelessly stole some of these pictures from Valdez and his wife Patty

For the first pic I am glad to show my dad's new bike. He just bought it and rode with us today.

I knew lunch was gonna be good when I pulled into the parking lot and saw this.

Buster sure was cooking up some good food for us.

Dad pointing out the first helmet hair he has had since around the time when I was born.

I don't know when Valdez or Patty got this pic but normally the line extended way past the end of the counter for this great BBQ

Lunch was great, and the company was better. That is Patty on the left, across from her is my dad, Denny, then me. Ron is behind the camera on this one.

Our route was pretty twisty so I didn't get many chances to snap pictures. I am riding sweep with my Dad and Valdez's bikes in front of me

From left to right. Patty, Valdez(Ron), Me, Dad(Denny)

Great Company, great food, and great roads...What more can you ask for.

Riding into Santa Rosa

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that I rode down the coast, this is the bay outside of Jenner Ca

Another shot of the bay

The cliffs before you reach the town of Jenner

I turned around and went back around the block for this in Guernville, this monster weighed in at 913 Lbs according to the sign in the window of the truck. You better bring a chainsaw and a shovel to turn this bad boy into a Jack-o-Lantern.

Puttin' Around Willits

Nice view of the Hearst River

Sure doesn't look very wet for a river...

Looking up at some trees on Red Hill

Looking down the road at Red Hill

Nice view of the NW edge of the Little Lake Valley from here

Norcal KawaNow rally

It was a little bit foggy as I left Gualala

It warmed up quick tho, this is also where I pulled over to catch my breath after my "interesting" experience

A dock at Clear Lake, it was over 100F at this point

Another view of the lake

I told yall it was hot out, this used to be a huge lake

First bit of mountains I came into heading into the sierra's up Hwy 49

Another neat view on the ride up to Sierraville

Early morning in the Sierra's on saturday

A coupla bikes in front of me

Caddman and his wife Judy on their Nomad

Beautiful country we were riding thru

Alex and his wife Jennifer, they have a real nice Harley, we heard in town there was a whole bunch of Harleys up at the camp we were staying at, but could only find this one

Strange kind of rock formation in the distance

Redeye and his granddaughter Sam on their Nomad, she was the youngest one there.

Redeye's wife, Anita. She has a really nice looking Honda Shadow, this was her first group ride and she did really good

Tony on his Honda Silverwing, he has only had it a coupla weeks.

Valdez and his wife Patty, on their Nomad

What a gorgeous day

I sure like the Sierra's

Believe it or not you have not fallen off your barstool....unless this appears right side up, then get up off the floor and back onto your barstool

Lake Amador

On the home stretch to lunch time

More beautiful wide open high sierra country
